A Voce restaurant and Marlon Abela are pleased to announce Missy Robbins as Executive Chef. Prior to joining A Voce, Missy Robbins was Executive Chef at Spiaggia in Chicago for five years, where she worked closely with Chef/Partner Tony Mantuano. Missy is a graduate of The Institute of Culinary Education, formerly known as Peter Kump's New York Cooking School. She has also worked in many of New York's most acclaimed restaurants including March, Arcadia and The Lobster Club as well as in Northern Italy where she mastered the art of Italian cuisine at the Michelin-rated Agli Amici in Friuli. Through her experiences, Missy absorbed the rich Italian culture and gained an appreciation for the ingredient-driven, simple and regionally inspired cuisine. Her knowledge for Italian cooking will be evident throughout A Voce's menu; dishes will pay homage to the freshness and flavors of true Italian fare.
